Shipping

Shipping times

Most orders are shipped the next business day. However, during busy times or for custom orders, shipping may take longer. In these instances, your order will be shipped by the end of the weekend at the latest.

Once the order is shipped, you will receive an email from PayPal with your tracking information.

Shipping costs

The shipping costs are calculated during checkout and are based on your location, package weight and dimensions.

Lost or stolen shipments

We use USPS for standard domestic and international shipping, which doesn't come with insurance. Other shipping options do include insurance.

If a package is lost and wasn't insured, we can't send a replacement or give a refund because the loss wasn't our fault.

If you pick a shipping option with insurance and your package is lost, we'll handle the insurance claim for you. We'll either replace the item or give you a refund within 30 days of when the package was supposed to arrive.

Non-deliverable shipments

If a shipment is returned to us as undeliverable due to an incorrect address provided by the customer, refusal of the package, or failure to pay customs fees, the customer will be charged the actual shipping costs incurred.

The refund will be issued only after we have received the returned package.

If the package is returned damaged and wasn't insured, we will not issue a refund.

International Shipping

Transit times

International transit times can vary widely and are influenced by the shipping method selected as well as factors beyond our control, such as customs processing. While we strive for timely shipping, delays can occur due to customs inspections, local regulations, or other logistical challenges. Therefore, we cannot guarantee exact delivery dates for international shipments.

Tariffs and local taxes

We do not collect local taxes or import tariffs on international shipments. These charges are the responsibility of the customer and may be due upon receipt of your order. Please be aware that these fees are separate from the shipping costs and are subject to local regulations, which can vary by country. It's important to check your local customs office for more information on potential import taxes or tariffs before placing an order.

Changing declared value

We cannot alter the declared value of an item or mark it as a gift on customs forms, as doing so is against the law. All items will be accurately described and valued on all required shipping and customs documentation. Please be aware that this policy is non-negotiable and in compliance with international regulations.

Order Cancellations and Changes

Order cancellations

If you need to cancel your order, please contact us right away. We can cancel orders that haven't been marked as shipped. However, you'll need to cover the original PayPal transaction fees (3.49% + $0.49 for orders in US dollars; up to 7.99% for orders in other currencies).

If the order is marked as shipped but hasn't been handed over to the carrier, you'll be responsible for the PayPal fees and actual shipping and packaging costs.

If the order has already been dropped off with the carrier, please refer to the Returns and Refunds section below.

Shipping address changes

We ship orders to the address given at checkout and cannot make exceptions. If you need to change your shipping address, you must contact us to cancel your existing order. For cancellation details, please refer to the section above.

Forum and Community Discounts

From time to time we offer special discounts for members of specific forums or communities (for example, Hobby-Machinist.com). These discounts are intended only for customers who meet the eligibility rules published with the discount (such as minimum membership duration or paid membership status).

We reserve the right to verify your eligibility for any such discount. This may include asking for your forum username, a link to your profile, or similar information. If we are unable to verify that you meet the eligibility requirements, or if it appears that the discount was used in violation of its terms, we may, at our discretion:

  • Adjust your order total to the correct non-discounted price and request your confirmation before shipping, or
  • Cancel the order and issue a refund.

If we cancel an order due to ineligible use of a forum/community discount, we will refund the purchase price minus any non-refundable payment processing fees we incur (for example, PayPal or credit card transaction fees).

Repeated misuse of forum or community discounts may result in loss of eligibility for future promotions.

Returns and Refunds

Incorrect, damaged or missing items

If an item arrives incorrect, damaged, or defective, please contact us within 10 business days of its arrival.

We'll inspect and test the returned product. If we determine it's faulty, we'll replace or refund the item at our discretion.

Pre-assembled adapters (TDA-4xx)

We accept returns of pre-assembled TDA-4xx adapters within 30 days of delivery. Items must be in like-new condition with all original accessories. We will issue a full refund of the purchase price. Buyer is responsible for return shipping.

DIY kits, modules, and carrier boards

We accept returns of DIY products within 30 days of delivery, provided they have not been soldered, modified, or assembled. Items must be in original, unused condition with all original packaging. We will issue a full refund of the purchase price. Buyer is responsible for return shipping.

Shipping Items Back to Us

Contact us for return authorization before sending any items back. Provide us with a tracking number within 7 days of return approval, and make sure we receive the item within 21 days. It's your responsibility to package the item securely and use a tracked shipping service. We won't be liable for items lost or damaged during return shipping.

How will a refund be issued?

We will inspect the returned item upon arrival to confirm it meets the return requirements.

  • If the item is faulty, we will cover reasonable return postage costs and will refund or replace it at our discretion.
  • If the item is returned in qualifying condition within the allowed return period, we will issue a full refund of the original purchase price.

Warranty and Repairs

Warranty periods

We warrant that a fully assembled* TouchDRO adapter you have purchased is free from defects in materials and workmanship under normal use and service for the warranty period stated on the product details page. This warranty extends only to the original purchaser and is non-transferable.

If the product proves defective during this warranty period, we will, at our discretion, either repair or replace the product free of charge.

This warranty does not cover damage resulting from improper installation, misuse, abuse, or unauthorized modifications. To obtain warranty service, please contact our customer support team for instructions on how to return the defective product. Proof of purchase is required for all warranty claims.

* For partially assembled kits, the warranty covers only the components that were originally assembled by us.

Other Repairs

If your TouchDRO adapter is damaged or stops working after the warranty period has expired, we can usually repair it. You will be responsible for covering shipping costs (both ways), and the cost of labor and replacement parts.
