Adapter cable for connecting legacy Mitutoyo AT2-N and AT11-N DRO scales with a 6-pin round Hirose RM12 bayonet connector to a TouchDRO TDA-410/420 scale interface adapter or TouchDRO DIY Kit. Shielded 22 AWG cable carries single-ended 5V TTL Quadrature A/B and Reference (index) signals.
System Requirements:
- TouchDRO TDA-410* or TDA-420* scale interface adapter or DIY kit
- Mitutoyo AT2-N, AT11-N, or compatible scale with a 6-pin round Hirose RM12 bayonet connector
* The cable wiring follows the default TouchDRO TDA-4xx pinout. If you've replaced your adapter's pin-mapping daughter board for a different pinout, you'll need the matching pin mapping board for these inputs.
Pack Sizes:
- 1 Cable — for single-axis setups or replacements
- 2 Cables — for 2-axis machines (mill X/Y or lathe X/Z)
- 3 Cables — for 3-axis mill setups (X/Y/Z)
Compatibility:
This adapter works with Mitutoyo scales and micrometer heads that use the 6-pin round Hirose RM12 bayonet connector and output a 5V TTL quadrature signal, including:
- Mitutoyo AT2-N series linear scales
- Mitutoyo AT11-N series linear scales
- Mitutoyo 6-pin micrometer heads (same pinout and signal as AT2-N / AT11-N)
It is not compatible with Mitutoyo AT2-FN or AT11-FN scales, which use a 7-pin connector, a 10V supply, and a sin/cos signal.
